Top 5 Dog Toys

Let's talk dog toys!
Dog toys are an absolute must when you have a hyperactive dog that needs a lot of attention.
Our Dog is a Walker Coonhound and we love her but boy does she have an unending amount of energy!
Sometimes the energy she has is shocking... No matter how much exercise she gets she always needs more. Doggy park play dates are a very frequent occurrence in our house.

Dog toys are great until the dog gets bored of them.
How do you prevent your dog from getting bored with toys???

Here is an Idea:
Have a pile of toys that are up and away from the dog and only introduce one toy at a time, when they get bored of the toy they have, put that one away and pull out a new one with excitement so that your pooch thinks you brought him/her a brand new shiny toy! This will save you tons of money on unnecessary dog toys and keep your dog from chewing up your things.

1. These toys from Otterly Pets are so cute for your girl dog. Our pup loves them! Plus it is a pack of six for a really reasonable price. This would pretty much fill up a majority of your pups toy bucket.
I would recommend these for a medium size dog.

She is my Fav!
These are super
cute colors, and will give entertainment for hours!

2. Elk Antlers

Elk Antlers are seriously so great! We used to get Bell rawhide bones but they would make her sick and she would always throw up, so we switched over to non-rawhide bones but she loved them so much and would literally chew through them in 5 minutes. We discovered these and thought we would give them a try! Bell absolutely loves this and will chew on it for hours. We bought one about 4 months ago and it is only about halfway gone! Worth every single penny!

3. The Kong Classic

This is another great toy for hyperactive dogs. Bell will sit there and paw at it trying to get the treat out until she finally does. She isn't very interested when there isn't a treat in it but, if you want to give your dog a treat and want to make them work for it, this is a great one.

4. Racoon stuffed Animal

Okay so this might not really look like a raccoon but it helps take care of the pups energy! We are training our pup to hunt raccoons so we bought some raccoon sent to go along with this. We drag the sent around the yard and then hide the coon around the yard so Bell can find it. She loves the chase!

5. Interactive Seek a Treat

This is another great toy that helps keep your dog away from your shoes. You just add a treat cover them up and watch your dog figure out the puzzle. So far it keeps her from chewing things up. we have had it for about a month now and she still gets excited when we pull it out. I just wonder how long it will be before she can figure out how to get all the treats out in under 2 min...
